About me

Work Related Experience

I teach the Life Skills Group. I have been working in this field for the past 17 years which the past four years have been at Hope Ranch.

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is " It is all for the Children". I started my career in the school system because I have a child with a learning disability and saw how the system was failing him. In my heart I knew I had to do something just not for him but for other children who were facing the same issues. If I can help one child then I am doing my job but to see the growth not only in my sons life but many of my students over the years then it is so worth it. We serve such an awesome God who shows and directs me to work with each child and what needs to be met in their lives.

Why I Love Teaching At HOPE Youth Ranch?

The day I stepped onto the grounds of Hope Ranch I felt such a peace and knew this is where God had called me to be. I am blessed to be working with such amazing children who have grown not just academically but spiritually. My co workers and administration are family to me and it such a wonderful feeling that we can meet every morning for devotions. We are able lift each other, our parents, our students and our campus up in prayer when we meet. When I come home from work my husband is excited for me since I come home with a smile on my face. Hope Ranch will always be in my heart.
