Within a month the home was fully furnished as donations of furniture, household items, food, etc. poured in. On August 16, 2004 the first of many girls arrived at the ranch, we called these first 6 "our pioneers". They have paved the way for so many others. Today we have 12 girls in our program with plans to build 5 additional homes on our main campus within the next two years. In the two short years we have been open we have been able to help 30 teens with the hope to be able to help thousands throughout the years.
There is a desperate need in our community and yours for therapeutic residential group homes for teen girls...HOPE Ranch is our County's first. While attending Community Based Care meetings throughout Pasco and Pinellas Counties in 2004, it was determined that long-term therapeutic care for teen girls was greatly needed throughout the region and completely absent in our county.
While currently serving 12 teen girls, our vision is to be able to serve 36 teen girls on this campus and open a similar campus for teen boys. At capacity (36 girls) on this campus we will have more than doubled the number of beds for "therapeuctic" foster children in our County. It is estimated that 266 "therapeutic" beds may be needed, there are currently 12 beds available to these children*.
Notice of Availability (NOA) are used by HOPE Youth Ranch, inc. to notify placement agencies of program openings. These NOA's will list elegibility criteria and barriers to admission. If you are interested in receiving an NOA packet, please e-mail us or call us at the number below.
Volunteer positions are open: All volunteers are required to pay for and pass a national background check by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The cost of this background check is $40. We ask our volunteers to make this financial committment in order to reduce our costs. Volunteer positions are available in areas dealing with youth, farm animals, as well as the community. Contact us at any of the numbers below or email us to initiate this process. We thank you for volunteering to impact lives.

Main property entrance. To the left of the driveway, a portion of the main house is visible. This section will be become the initial office location for the Ranch.
The remaining 2/3 of the 5,000 sf home is completely isolated from the office and houses our live in Coaches and 6 teen girls.
