She and her brother were adopted as babies.  They grew up together and happy.  But everything soon changed when their adoptive brother began to abuse her.  Her adoptive parents chose not to believe the terrible truth that their son had abused their adopted daughter.  Instead of taking action, instead of trying to heal their daughter, instead of seeking help for their son, they gave her back to the state.  They gave up on her.  Her entire world was shattered. 

Now she is here.  She is at HYR to receive healing and hope.  We cannot fathom the pain of her rejection.  We have not been rejected by our birth parents and then again by adoptive parents.  How does a young girl cope?  She laughs.

Her laugh is beautiful.  She is full of joy and loves to have fun.  This hurting, beautiful young girl has chosen to seek help.  Yes, she has bad days.  Yes, she wants to give up and forget everything.  At times she says she has no hope and no one will ever love her again. 

But here she has been introduced to the Healer of every hurt.  And though she seems to have no hope and no reason to go on, He has begun to change her.  And our Creator does love her, and has chosen her out of her deepest despair. 

Please pray she gives her pain to the ultimate Healer.
