The Adopted

She was adopted as a baby.  But years later, her adoptive family decided she was too much to handle, and gave her back to the state.  Now this girl was orphaned for the second time in her life.  Her adoptive family kept her sisters, so now all contact with her blood family was lost.  She began to hide inside herself. 

Unfortunately other people began to pick on her and her self esteem plummeted.  She gained lots of weight trying to hide the pain she hid inside.  Temper tantrums were normal behavior.  Other families tried to adopt her, but her behavior stopped each one. 

But then hope came.  She began to see how beautiful she was, and began to work on herself.  Her poor behavior ceased, she lost all her extra weight and she learned how to be a happy teenage girl.  And then a family started the adoption process.  She was loved again.  She was cared for again.  She was seen as a beautiful princess in their eyes.  And she blossomed. 

The official adoption process took time, but she endured and the adoption was completed soon after the New Year.  She was once a dirty piece of unwanted coal, but is now transformed into a priceless gemstone. 

Please pray for her and her new adoptive family.  She will need to learn how to adapt and live in this new environment.  And her new parents will have to learn how to raise this precious young woman.  Pray God grants the entire family wisdom and perseverance.
