HOPE Youth Ranch

Group Home

She's hurting & angry but she says she doesn't want help.
She cuts and she starves herself.
She pushes people away with her words.
She is self-destructive. She runs.
The nightmares won't go away.
She relives the abuse in her sleep.
She's tried drugs to dull the pain.
She doesn't know who she is.
She's escaped into her mind so many times.
She people pleases to gain love.
She's been with so many men.
She's had her own baby...looking for love.
Her heart has grown cold and she's only sixteen.
She feels hopeless and has just arrived at a place called HOPE.
Our Group Home is a 12 month program with intensive counseling and psychiatric services, for up to fourteen girls ages 11 to 16 who are dealing with a number of life controlling issues. Our program is highly structured, faith-based, and therapeutic in nature and provides remedial education through our in-campus private school, HOPE Ranch Learning Academy.

The girls reside in a home-like environment and are supervised by live-in, professional Behavior Coaches. Our 9+ acre facility has more than ample areas for physical activities, a pool for a bit of relaxation, and several horses for therapeutic activities and riding fun.

We employ full time professional staff members, each with the appropriate education and experience suited for their roles. We use a family model comprised of husband and wife teams who reside with the girls in each of our homes.

Residential life is comprised of four areas of concentration: Character Building, Spiritual Growth, Academic Achievement, Independent Living and Counseling.

Character Building is integral to life long success after graduating our program. By building and demonstrating specific character traits, the child learns to do what is right, even when not supervised by others.

Spiritual Growth fills the void in their lives and the long term force to direct their path even in difficult times. This growth is developed through church, chapel services, group studies and individual studies in a fun manner. The children learn how to read and apply Biblical principles in their daily living.

O
ur in campus private school, HOPE Ranch Learning Academy provides remedial education inline with Sunshine State Standard from the State of Florida. A qualified full time Teacher and Teacher Aide work with the girls to accomplish astonishing results during their time here. All credits earned are transferable to the school the child goes to after graduation.

Our counseling methods are unique and highly effective. Our in-house Master's level Licensed Mental Health Counselors have years of experience with adolescent counseling. Counseling sessions consist of weekly individual and group session. While some counseling sessions occur in the counselor's office, some take place in the various pastures around our property where horses are employed in the counseling process. Equine assisted therapy is a highly effective counseling method focused on behavior and cause and effect relationships, helping the child better and quickly understand how their actions impact others.
