For children in the Foster Care System, Magellan Healthcare Services covers the cost of Licensed Mental Health Counseling and Psychiatric Services. Whether the child is in our group home program or in foster care within our community. EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY
A powerful and effective therapeutic approach that has an incredible impact on individuals, youth, families, and groups. It addresses a variety of mental health and behavioral issues, including Attention Deficit Disorder, Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders, Abuse Issues, Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Problems and Communication Needs.
Participants learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with the horses, and then processing (or discussing) feelings, behaviors and patterns.
